31' Camano Troll   The Camano 31 is a great smaller West Coast trawler!  Except - that it does not feel small! Her design includes everything you need for long term cruising.  She has a roomy galley ,dining space for six and lots of room to spread out!  She also has a full flybridge and very usable cockpit. The Camanos are designed to take any sea conditions you may encounter. Her KEELFORM hull design provides a very stable and comfortable ride.  The Camano 31 is a well-known Northwest boat and was designed for these waters -- ready to handle a wide range of conditions, sturdy, simple to operate and maintain, work-boat-like in appearance, capable of comfortable long-range cruising, and with an amazingly large interior space. A study of the photos of the boat demonstrates that it would be literally impossible to design a boat with better 360-degree visibility and more light.  While the Camano is not as well known in other parts of the world, it should absolutely be considered by anyone looking for a proven boat with performance and accommodations that far exceed its nominal size. This particular example has been used extensively for fishing here in the Northwest.  The 200 hp Volvo® turbo-charged engine is placed deep in the engine compartment, along with the fluid storage.  This places the center of gravity lower than in most boats, thus allowing a steady and level ride. Comfort is also derived from the low noise level, when underway, because of a combination of a quiet diesel and a well-insulated engine room.  This boat is perfectly designed for the cruising couple with lots of storage and ease of maintenance. The Genevieve has always been maintained by a professional shipwright and has enjoyed many upgrades.  Her Volvo 200 hp Turbo engine was rebuilt in April 2010 and has less than 100 hours on it. She is a one owner boat and has a complete log book and service records for your viewing and is available to view at Cedar Grove Marina in beautiful Sidney, BC
